Birth-focused workshops are in person, with location TBD. Postpartum, newborn-care, lactation, business and new-parent educator workshops are live virtual. Each teaching date has one session in one format. Check your program’s dates below; final times and virtual joining details will be confirmed.
Scheduled workshops begin at least three weeks after the full-content target for all associated programs and pathways. Complete the required preparation before attending; online study remains self-paced.
Workshops are included in the listed course tuition and instructional hours. They use models, simulations, demonstrations and peer practice; required supervised client and teaching practice remain separate.

Learning hours and pathway attendance
Breaks are outside the instructional hours shown. Dual Pathway students attend the Birth Doula lab in person and the Postpartum workshop virtually. Perinatal Specialist students attend Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator labs in person, with Postpartum, NCS and Lactation workshops virtually. Both Hybrid workshops, Apr 17, 2027 and Apr 24, 2027, are virtual.
Infection Prevention (PD3) meets in person on April 4, 2027; Postpartum meets virtually on April 10. Childbirth Educator meets in person on April 25; New Parent Educator meets virtually on May 15. These are separate teaching dates.
The April 17 virtual newborn-care lab is one combined class for NCS and Hybrid learners. Pathway students attend the associated course sessions; pathway listings do not create additional simultaneous classes. Shared learning is credited only when the required outcomes and evidence align.
Workshop attendance does not replace supervised client-contact or teaching-practice hours, external CPR/BLS training or neonatal resuscitation certification. Course prerequisites, supervision requirements, assessments and professional scope remain in effect.
Session details: In-person locations are TBD. Final times and virtual joining details will be provided before each session. Course completion follows acceptance of all required practice and assessments.
