Assignment: Produce two client profiles and a service map with boundaries.

Module 02PD2 M2 Capacity and pricing

Calculate a minimum sustainable fee using realistic paid and unpaid time.

240 minutes instruction + 120 minutes independent study.

Topics: Direct costs; overhead; tax reserves; backup; benefits; cancellations; on-call capacity; sliding-scale funding; break-even assumptions.

Assignment: Model three utilization levels and explain which assumptions drive viability.

Module 03PD2 M3 Contracts and records

Create a service-term checklist and a consistent onboarding workflow.

Topics: Consent; scope; retainer and payment terms; refunds; backup; privacy; worker classification questions; insurance; professional review.

Assignment: Reconcile a mock proposal, agreement, schedule and invoice.

Topics: Website structure; search discoverability; social media; testimonials and permission; networking; consultations; inquiry follow-up.

Assignment: Draft a homepage brief, referral introduction and 30-day outreach calendar.

Module 05PD2 M5 Money and operations

Prepare a cash-flow forecast and identify the correct professional for unresolved obligations.

240 minutes instruction + 120 minutes independent study.

Topics: Bookkeeping categories; receipts; deposits; receivables; payroll questions; cybersecurity; incident response; continuity and rest.

Assignment: Complete a 90-day forecast and a late-payment workflow.

Module 06PD2 M6 Launch and quality improvement

Present a viable practice plan with performance measures and a revision cycle.

240 minutes instruction + 120 minutes independent study.

Topics: Launch milestones; conversion and capacity; complaints; client feedback; partnerships; renewal; growth without unsafe workload.

Assignment: Present the plan in ten minutes, receive faculty feedback and revise.

Final assignment

A full calendar produces insufficient income because travel, administrative time and backup costs were omitted. Reprice and revise capacity while honoring existing commitments.

Materials and preparation

Digital course workbook, scenario pack and assignment templates; access to a device for reading and submitted work. Use fictional or de-identified examples. Faculty assign selected readings within the stated study hours.
